- 1 gpaneer, cubed
- 1 cupsgreen peas (fresh or frozen)
- 1 mediumonion, blended
- 1 mediumtomatoes, pureed
- 1 tbspgarlic-ginger paste
- 1 tspcoriander powder
- 1 tspgaram masala
- 1 tspturmeric
- 1 tbspoil
- 1 tbspcream (optional)
- 1 tspsalt
Ingredients
- 300 g paneer, cubed
- 1.5 cups green peas (fresh or frozen)
- 2 medium onion, blended
- 2 medium tomatoes, pureed
- 2 tbsp garlic-ginger paste
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 0.5 tsp turmeric
- 3 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp cream (optional)
- 1.5 tsp salt
Instructions
- Lightly fry paneer cubes in oil until golden; remove and set aside.
- In same oil, sauté blended onion until golden-brown, about 8 minutes.
- Add garlic-ginger paste; cook 2 minutes. Add tomato puree and all spices.
- Cook the base until oil separates, about 7 minutes.
- Add peas and half cup water; cover and cook 5 minutes.
- Add fried paneer; simmer 5 minutes. Stir in cream if using.
- Adjust salt and garnish with cilantro. Serve with chapati or jeera rice.
