- 300 gred lentils
- 1 largeonion
- 3 piecegarlic cloves
- 2 mediumtomatoes
- 150 mlcoconut milk
- 5 gcumin
- 3 gturmeric
- 3 gpaprika
- 15 mlolive oil
- 5 gsalt
- 20 mllime juice
- 15 gcilantro
Ingredients
- 300 g red lentils
- 1 large onion
- 3 piece garlic cloves
- 2 medium tomatoes
- 150 ml coconut milk
- 5 g cumin
- 3 g turmeric
- 3 g paprika
- 15 ml olive oil
- 5 g salt
- 20 ml lime juice
- 15 g cilantro
Instructions
- Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until golden.
- Add spices and toast 1 minute. Add tomatoes and cook 3 minutes.
- Add rinsed lentils and 1 liter of water. Bring to boil, cook 20 minutes until lentils are soft.
- Stir in coconut milk and lime juice. Blend partially for a creamy texture.
- Season well, serve with fresh cilantro and crusty bread or rice.
