  • 4 wholechicken thighs bone-in
  • 100 mlyerba mate brewed strong
  • 3 gcumin
  • 3 wholegarlic cloves
  • 20 mllemon juice
  • 20 mlolive oil
  • 3 gsea salt
  • 2 gdried oregano

  • 100 ml yerba mate brewed strong
  • 3 g cumin
  • 3 whole garlic cloves
  • 20 ml lemon juice
  • 20 ml olive oil
  • 3 g sea salt
  • 2 g dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Brew strong mate; cool.
  2. Mix mate with cumin, crushed garlic, lemon, oil, salt, and oregano.
  3. Marinate chicken thighs 2+ hours.
  4. Grill over medium-high heat 8–10 min per side.
  5. Rest 5 min before serving.
