Ingredients

  • 700 gthin-cut beef steaks
  • 400 gtomatoes
  • 3 unitsjalapeño chiles
  • 200 gwhite onion
  • 3 clovesgarlic
  • 30 mlvegetable oil
  • 5 gsalt and pepper
  • 8 unitscorn tortillas

Ingredients

  • 700 g thin-cut beef steaks
  • 400 g tomatoes
  • 3 units jalapeño chiles
  • 200 g white onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 30 ml vegetable oil
  • 5 g salt and pepper
  • 8 units corn tortillas

Instructions

  1. Pound steaks thin, season with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear steaks over very high heat 1-2 min per side, set aside.
  3. Sauté sliced onion and jalapeño until softened.
  4. Add diced tomato and garlic, cook 5 min.
  5. Return steaks and any juices, stir to coat in tomato mixture.
  6. Simmer together 3 min, serve with warm tortillas.
