  • elbow macaroni
  • sharp cheddar, shredded
  • eggs
  • turkey breakfast sausage
  • milk (2%)
  • butter
  • hot sauce
  • green onion, sliced
  • salt and pepper

Ingredients

  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 0.75 cup sharp cheddar, shredded
  • 4 whole eggs
  • 4 oz turkey breakfast sausage
  • 0.25 cup milk (2%)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 2 whole green onion, sliced
  • 1 tsp salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni per package directions. Drain and return to pot.
  2. Add butter, milk, and cheddar to pasta. Stir over low heat until melted and creamy.
  3. Brown turkey sausage crumbles in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Scramble eggs in the same skillet with salt and pepper.
  5. Divide mac and cheese into bowls. Top with eggs and sausage crumbles.
  6. Garnish with green onion and hot sauce.
