  • 120 ggreen lentils
  • 100 glean pork sausage (low fat)
  • 1 mediumonion
  • 1 mediumcarrot
  • 1 unitcelery stalk
  • 2 unitgarlic cloves
  • 100 gcrushed tomatoes
  • 1 sprigrosemary
  • 500 mllow-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tspolive oil
  • 1salt and pepper

  • 100 g lean pork sausage (low fat)
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1 unit celery stalk
  • 2 unit garlic cloves
  • 100 g crushed tomatoes
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 500 ml low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Sauté onion, carrot, and celery in olive oil 5 minutes. Add garlic and sausage, cook 3 minutes.
  2. Add rinsed lentils, tomatoes, rosemary, and broth. Simmer 30 minutes until lentils are tender.
  3. Season and serve with a drizzle of olive oil.
