  • 1 cupcornmeal
  • 1 scoopwhey protein powder (unflavored)
  • 0.5 cupall-purpose flour
  • 1 tspbaking powder
  • 2 wholeegg
  • 1 cupmilk (1%)
  • 1 tbsphoney
  • 0.5 tspsalt
  • 0.5 cupcheddar cheese shredded (optional)

  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 whole egg
  • 1 cup milk (1%)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup cheddar cheese shredded (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray a 9x13 baking pan.
  2. Mix cornmeal, protein powder, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Whisk eggs, milk, and honey. Pour into dry and stir to combine.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  5. Press hot dog rounds evenly into batter. Sprinkle with cheddar if using.
  6. Bake 25–28 minutes until cornbread is golden and set. Cut into squares.
