  • raw mango, grated (or green apple)
  • sev (thin chickpea noodles)
  • tamarind chutney
  • green chutney
  • chaat masala
  • cilantro, chopped
  • lemon juice

  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 small tomato, finely diced
  • 3 tbsp raw mango, grated (or green apple)
  • 0.5 cup sev (thin chickpea noodles)
  • 3 tbsp tamarind chutney
  • 2 tbsp green chutney
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 2 tbsp cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine puffed rice, onion, tomato, and raw mango.
  2. Add tamarind chutney, green chutney, chaat masala, and lemon juice; toss quickly.
  3. Fold in sev and cilantro.
  4. Serve immediately in paper cones — bhel turns soggy if it sits.
  5. Optional: top with extra sev for crunch.
