  • chicken breast
  • corn tortillas
  • serrano chiles
  • garlic
  • onion
  • avocado
  • Mexican cream
  • Cotija cheese
  • vegetable oil
  • lettuce

Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 16 units corn tortillas
  • 2 units serrano chiles
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 100 g onion
  • 2 units avocado
  • 100 ml Mexican cream
  • 60 g Cotija cheese
  • 500 ml vegetable oil
  • 100 g lettuce

Instructions

  1. Boil chicken with onion, garlic, serrano and salt. Shred finely.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Fill each tortilla with chicken, roll tightly and secure with toothpick.
  4. Fry rolled flautas in 180°C oil until crispy golden, 3-4 min.
  5. Drain on paper towel. Remove toothpicks.
  6. Serve with guacamole, cream, lettuce and crumbled Cotija.
