Afternoon Tea Protein Scones
Fluffy protein-boosted scones perfect for afternoon tea. Made with Greek yoghurt and whey protein for 18g protein each. Quintessentially British and fitness-friendly.

- 250 gself-raising flour
- 40 gvanilla whey protein
- 150 gGreek yoghurt
- 60 mlmilk
- 30 gbutter
- 1 wholeegg
- 1 tspbaking powder
- 1 pinchpinch of salt

- 250 g self-raising flour
- 40 g vanilla whey protein
- 150 g Greek yoghurt
- 60 ml milk
- 30 g butter
- 1 whole egg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven 200°C. Rub butter into flour, protein powder, baking powder and salt until breadcrumbs.
- Mix yoghurt, milk and egg. Combine wet and dry into a soft dough.
- Pat to 2cm thick, cut 8 rounds with cutter.
- Brush tops with milk. Bake 15–18 minutes until golden.
- Serve warm with low-fat clotted-style spread and berries.
