Ingredients
- 800 g chicken pieces
- 300 g long-grain white rice
- 300 g tomatoes
- 150 g onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 600 ml chicken broth
- 100 g frozen peas
- 2 units carrots
- 3 g cumin
- 40 ml vegetable oil
Instructions
- Brown chicken pieces in oil on all sides, remove.
- Toast rice in the same oil until golden.
- Blend tomato, onion and garlic; add to rice, stir.
- Pour in broth, add chicken, diced carrots and cumin.
- Bring to boil, cover and simmer on low 20 min.
- Add peas, cover and rest 5 min off heat.
- Fluff and serve.
