- white rice

- chicken broth

Ingredients
- 600 g chicken pieces (thighs/drumsticks)
- 250 g white rice
- 1 large onion
- 1 piece bell pepper (yellow)
- 2 medium tomato
- 3 piece garlic cloves
- 2 g saffron or turmeric
- 600 ml chicken broth
- 20 ml olive oil
- 6 g salt
- 15 g parsley
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt and garlic. Brown in olive oil, 5 min per side. Remove.
- Sauté onion, pepper, and tomato in the same pot until soft.
- Add rice and toast 2 minutes. Add turmeric and broth.
- Nestle chicken back in, bring to boil, then reduce heat. Cook covered 25 minutes.
- Rest 5 minutes, fluff rice, and garnish with parsley.
