- shrimp (dried or fresh)
- coconut milk
- roasted peanuts
- dendê oil
- onion
- garlic cloves
- ginger

Ingredients
- 150 g stale bread
- 150 g shrimp (dried or fresh)
- 200 ml coconut milk
- 60 g roasted peanuts
- 20 ml dendê oil
- 1 medium onion
- 2 piece garlic cloves
- 5 g ginger
- 4 g salt
- 10 g cilantro
Instructions
- Soak bread in coconut milk for 10 minutes. Squeeze and reserve liquid.
- Blend soaked bread, peanuts, shrimp, onion, garlic, and ginger with reserved milk into a smooth paste.
- Heat dendê oil in a pan over medium heat. Add paste and stir constantly.
- Cook 15-20 minutes until thick and golden, adding more coconut milk as needed.
- Season and serve topped with cilantro as a sauce with rice or acarajé.
