- 1 tsp chana dal
- 12 leaves curry leaves
- 2 whole dried red chilies
- 0.5 tsp turmeric
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Mix lemon juice and turmeric into cooked, cooled rice.
- Heat oil in a pan; add mustard seeds and chana dal; let splutter.
- Add curry leaves, dried chilies, and peanuts; toss 1 minute.
- Pour hot tempering over the lemon-rice; mix gently.
- Season with salt and serve at room temperature or cold.
