  • garlic-ginger paste

  • garam masala
  • kasuri methi
  • red chili powder

Ingredients

  • 400 g paneer, cubed
  • 2 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 12 whole cashews
  • 2 tbsp garlic-ginger paste
  • 4 tbsp cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1.5 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Simmer onion, tomato, and cashews in 0.5 cup water 10 minutes; cool and blend to smooth paste.
  2. Heat butter in a pan; add garlic-ginger paste and cook 2 minutes.
  3. Add blended paste and cook until oil separates, about 10 minutes.
  4. Stir in all spice powders and salt; cook 2 minutes.
  5. Add cream and half cup water; bring to simmer.
  6. Add paneer cubes; cook gently 5 minutes. Crush kasuri methi and stir in.
  7. Garnish with cream swirl and serve with butter naan.
